Three homes across Melbourne's south-east, each set up for genuine independence with the right support close by. SIL is the support, not the house, so you can also bring your own housing and we provide the support in it.
When we advertise a vacancy, it means we have a welcoming home available through one of our trusted housing partners, and our team ready to provide SIL support in that home.
You are always in control. You can bring your own housing and we provide the SIL support, or choose a home through our network and decide if we are the right provider for you.
We work with housing providers, landlords and SDA specialists to connect you to the right living environment. Then you decide where you live and who provides your supports.

Our SIL homes sit under Nathalia, our Compliance Manager for Home & Living, who bridges two areas most providers keep separate: compliance and the accommodation itself. That means the standard of the house and the standard of the paperwork are held by the same person.
Day to day service delivery sits with Emma, our Service Delivery Manager, and operations with Nicole, Head of Operations.

Looking for two compatible housemates, with a 1:3 support model.
Looking for one compatible housemate, with a 1:2 support model. YAY Today is the SIL provider here, not the SDA or housing provider.
There is a common assumption that SIL means moving into a shared house. It does not have to. Plenty of people stay exactly where they are and have their support come to them.
We currently provide SIL supports to three participants in their own homes, with the support built around their routines, their goals and the way they like things done, rather than around a roster.
Talk about support at home →

Good SIL is not about filling beds or running an efficient roster. It is about someone having a place that feels like theirs, with the right support wrapped around it.
The person comes before the roster.
Participants have a say in who they live with.
A home should genuinely feel like their home.
Housing and SIL support are kept clearly separate.
Support should build independence and confidence.
Safeguarding is part of everyday practice.
We do not simply fill a vacant room with whoever enquires first. Living with someone is a big deal, so we think properly about whether people will actually get on.
Things we consider:
The people already living in the home get a say too. They are not just told someone new is moving in.
Filling a room isn't the goal. Finding the right home and support is.
No. We provide SIL support in your own home, a private rental, an SDA property, or a home arranged by another provider. Our own homes are an option, not a requirement.
Register your interest and tell us what you are looking for. We will call the moment a room opens up that fits your needs, or we can discuss providing SIL support in your own housing.
Yes, and we would rather you did. Come and have a look at the home, meet whoever is living there, and decide if it feels right. There is no commitment until you are ready.
Yes. This is a core part of what we do, including positive behaviour support, epilepsy and seizure management, mealtime support, medication administration and complex mobility. High-intensity supports are overseen by Authorised Program Officers.
In our Clayton home, yes. For Frankston it depends on the other residents and the housing agreement. Ask us and we will give you a straight answer.
Interested in a home with a room now, or want us to keep you in mind for one coming up? Tell us what you're after and we'll take it from there. We can also provide SIL support in your own place.
