We match you with support workers based on your interests, routines and personality, not just who happens to be free. The right match is the difference between support that works and support you tolerate.
Support work covers a lot of ground, and what it looks like depends entirely on you. For some people it is personal care and getting through the morning. For others it is having someone alongside them at the gym, or on the train, or at an appointment they were dreading.
The common thread is that it should feel like support, not supervision. That comes down to the match, which is why we take the matching part seriously rather than sending whoever is available.
We only onboard support workers we would want in our own families' homes. That is the actual bar, and it rules a lot of people out.
NDIS Worker Screening, police checks, Working With Children Check and three reference checks before anyone starts.
First Aid, CPR, manual handling, infection control, and training specific to the people they support.
Our own recruitment team hires every worker. No agency, no rotating unknown faces.
Yes. We propose a match based on what you have told us, you meet them, and if it does not feel right we try again. Nobody is stuck with a worker who is not a good fit.
NDIS Worker Screening Check, national police check, Working With Children Check, and three reference checks. All staff also complete First Aid, CPR, manual handling and infection control training.
Where we can, yes. We recruit with cultural and language needs in mind and will always tell you honestly whether we can meet a specific request.
We arrange cover from our own team, and wherever possible someone who has met you before. You will know in advance rather than finding out at the door.
Usually under Core Supports in your NDIS plan, as assistance with daily life or social and community participation. If you are unsure what your plan covers, we can go through it with you.
We match on interests and routine first, but travel matters too. Our support workers cover Glen Eira, Bayside and Kingston as a core patch, with coverage further into the south-east and Mornington Peninsula for the right match.
A few of the people we've supported, in their own words.
Greater consistency, greater calm.
