SCHOOL LEAVER
EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT

Supporting Your Journey into Employment

YAY Today’s dedicated NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) coaching program is designed to guide you through the transition from school to work or further studies. In particular, our expert coaches will support you every step of the way.

Through this program, they help you explore your interests, build new skills, and overcome any uncertainties or anxiety. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers who share your passions.

As a result, you can build confidence, develop meaningful connections, and take positive steps toward your future.

Who Can Benefit from Our Services?

Our SLES program is tailored for school leavers. Particularly those with SLES funding in their NDIS plan, who are facing challenges with social disconnection and navigating the post-school transition. We understand that moving from school to the workforce can feel overwhelming. That’s why our specialised coaching programs are here to bridge the gap between your passions and job opportunities. These programs will help you fostering confidence and equipping you with essential employment readiness skills. And will ensure you are well-prepared for the next stage of your journey.

How Our Program Operates?

Every school leaver’s journey is unique, so we tailor our program to match your passions, strengths, and goals. We work closely with you to explore how you can apply your natural talents and interests to further education or employment opportunities.

At the same time, we focus on building essential foundational skills such as:

  • Effective Communication
  • Time Management
  • Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle
  • Navigating Employment and Higher Education Pathways

These elements are seamlessly integrated into your SLES funding as part of your NDIS plan. At YAY Today, we are committed to empowering you with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in your future endeavours —whether that be in the workforce or further education.
