At YAY Today, we know that some people need more than standard support – they need specialised, high-intensity care that is delivered with skill, compassion, and consistency.
We provide 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) services to participants living in their own homes, rentals, or SIL properties organised by other providers. We believe in supporting independence while maintaining safety and dignity. Every participant has a personalised care plan that reflects their needs, goals, and preferences.
Our process includes:
“Before YAY Today, my life was really hard. I was in and out of the mental health hospital for years. I also lived in another SIL house with other people, but it wasn’t good for me. I was having a lot of challenges and found it hard to cope. I didn’t feel understood.
When I came to YAY Today, things changed. They gave me my own support workers who are qualified and really care about me.
Since I have been with YAY Today, I have made amazing progress. I feel more happy and more active. I do more things I enjoy. They encourage me to be more independent and I am learning new skills.
I feel safe, cared for, and understood. I am very glad to have YAY Today in my life.”
“I used to move from place to place because things didn’t work out. I felt like I didn’t belong anywhere. I struggled to manage my day and keep on top of things.
When I joined YAY Today, they helped me make a routine that works for me. My support workers are kind and patient. They don’t rush me, and they explain things so I can understand.
Now I can cook some meals, keep my space tidy, and do my own washing. I feel more independent and in control. For the first time, I feel settled and happy where I live.”
We welcome referrals from support coordinators, families, and health professionals.
