About Our Support Workers
All our support workers are handpicked by our team of internal recruitment consultants to ensure that they are best suited to assisting you, or your family members.
Where possible, Yay Today’s will recruit to accommodate our clients’ specific requirements such as preferred language or cultural fit.
All Yay Today’s staff are fully screened and complete mandatory police checks, working with children checks and NDIS screening check
We equip our staff with training that is specific to the needs of the people they work with and to ensure that they are compliant with all statutory regulations that govern the sector.
We have support workers that have undertaken First Aid Course, CPR, manual handling, and fire safety trainings.

Our internal rostering team works closely with our support workers in supporting you the way you wish, including matching you with your care team.
Yay Today’s conduct regular performance evaluation and appraisals of all our Support Workers. Whilst additionally providing for open, ongoing, honest, direct communication channels for our Clients to discuss any issues, queries, or concerns without prejudice. Our Support Workers are regularly given opportunities for performance development and training in all relevant areas.
Feedback relating to staff allocated to support and care for you can be provided at any time without prejudice, and another Support Worker will be allocated to your care immediately. There are no notice periods or cost implications if this happens.
Yay Today’s is dedicated to maintaining a culture of open communication, transparency, and accountability. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and Yay Today’s is dedicated to caring for our clients in the way they wish to be cared for.
At Yay Today, we ensure that our support workers are fully qualified and adhere to all statutory regulations governing the disability, and mental health sectors. Our support workers hold at least a Certificate III in Individual Support or an equivalent qualification, with many having achieved a Certificate IV, Diploma, or even degrees in Nursing and Mental Health.
All of our support staff undergo thorough screening for prior criminal history both nationally and internationally, NDIS screening check and hold Working with Children Checks.
Our support workers possess full Driver’s Licenses and are certified in CPR and First Aid, with certifications maintained in compliance with statutory regulations. Our dedicated in-house recruitment team meticulously selects support staff who are not only qualified but are also passionate about what they do best—caring. Our staff bring a wealth of experience in providing exceptional care and support services.
